The foundation of the Mathematics curriculum is to provide opportunities for students to learn mathematical concepts at the conceptual level using a hands-on approach to teaching.  Then, students will transition to the abstract level, and be able to apply mathematical concepts with more confidence and resourcefulness as mathematical problem solvers.
